Fifth Victory In A Row!
Lokomotiv U21s have thrashed their opponents in Perm 3:0.
The kick-off hour was early, as both the youngsters and the main squad had to play their games on one day and on one field. The starting whistle was blown at 9 a.m.
The attendance was good, despite the warm and sunny weather and a holiday, when most of the Russians go out of town for a barbecue. Loko’s fas-section was also vociferous.
Our team arrived in Perm a bit weakened. Galadzhan, Galanin, Lysov, and Makhatadze had been called up to the national team. Anton Miranchuk and Dmitriy Barinov were out of the registration list, these two had been called up to the main squad. Rifat Zhemaletdinov was injured.
Before the start of the game, Amkar’s legendary player and coach Konstantin Paramonov explained to the local media why there were so many Paramonovs on the list: ‘Yevgeniy’s my son, Igor’s my nephew’.
In the first half, the Railwaymen had some advantage, they controlled the ball and made more attempts. Amkar responded with good combinations but produced only one try when Lantratov had to save the ball from under the crossbar after Ivanchenko had a go.
In the second half, the tempo was uneven again. In the 55th minute Lokomotiv scored an opener. Two players were ready to send the ball home but it was Andrea Chukanov who scored. The team’s best scorer made it 1:0.
In just fifteen minutes, Lokomotiv doubled the lead. Dorofeyev passed into space for Anisimov who chipped it over Otmakhov - 2:0.
Amkar were willing to get back into the game and had some very good chances. On 77 minutes Idowu passed to Anferov who directed the ball at the upper corner but Lantratov saved. On 84 minutes Mostovoy made the score big. Otmakhov left the goal and the striker chipped the ball over him again - 3:0.
Lokomotiv won the fifth game in a row and advanced up the table.
