Lokomotiv youth team beats Fakel in the first YFL match
Today, July 15, FC Lokomotiv youth team hosted the game with FC Fakel youth team. The first match of the new season ended with the victory of our guys. The score is 2:0. In the first half the ball was scored by Vadim Rakov. And at the very end of the game Matvey Chekalin scored the second one. Congratualtions to our team.
In the 37th minute, Lokomotiv took the lead and opened the score. The attack was started by Ilya Belikov on his left flank: being under heavy pressure, the defender took pass back to Alexey Larin. After our captain kept the ball and pass it to the center, where Matvey Pershin was. Matvey saw Vadim Rakov’s approaching to the right and passed to him without any hesitation. The striker took the pass, moved forward a little and without entering the penalty area he delivered an accurate strike into the long corner of the goal. And then the ball from the bar flew into the net. We opened the score of 1:0! The debut goal in the debut match! Well done, Vadim!
But our second ball was scored only in the third minute of the extra time. After the protracted attack, first Pershin struk. But his shot was blocked by crowd of Fakel’s defenders. But Matvey Chekalin was more successful. He became the author of the second ball. The result of the meeting is 2:0. FC Lokomotiv beats FC Fakel in the opening match of the Youth Football League season. Congratulations to Lokomotiv! And our specials thanks to the fans for their active support at the stadium.
