Practice Game Against Chertanovo

On Friday, June 26 Lokomotiv played against Chertanovo at their practice field in Cherkizovo.

The game was a mere training and was closed for the fans. In the first half, Loko’s manager Igor Cherevchenko tested almost all of his top eleven. Only in the centre of defence the young Maxim Danilyants played together with Nemanja Pejcinovic. Lokomotiv set a high speed from the very beginning and soon had the initiative. The Railwaymen scored an opener early in the game. Alexey Miranchuk foxed several opponents and passed along the goal line to Maxim Grigoryev who sent it home. Soon Manuel Fernandes and Alexey Miranchuk both had chances to make the score big but the Portuguese shook the woodwork while the youngster’s strike was stopped by the keeper.

Chertanovo equalised moments before the break. A Railroader hand-played in the area and the visitors were awarded a penalty which they converted to a goal.

After the first half came to an end, the Lokomotiv players were sent to run in circles around the pitch, while the youth team came in to play in the second half. Chertanovo made no substitutions. Soon they scored a second goal when Kosyanchuk finished off a cross, and then doubled the lead.
