Third Victory In A Row!

As compared to the game in Krasnodar Slaven Bilic made four changes in his starting eleven. Defenders Roman Shishkin and Andrey Eschenko who were suspended for the game against the Bulls now found their names on the list. Another two were forwards Roman Pavlyuchenko and Maxim Grigoriev.
 
Lokomotiv took the ball and controlled it pushing the home team to their box. In the 10th minute Dame N'Doye could have scored an opener. The Senegalese broke  away one on one with Khomich but failed to make a chip shot.
 
But the Railwaymen managed to score anyway. In the 12th minute Victor Obinna crossed from a corner and Grigoriev sent a header home!
 
Upset by such a beginning, Alania started to foul which resulted in injuries. But the referee booked them just once, showing a yellow card to Pliev.

The first danger for Loko's goal came only half an hour into the game. Mauricio shot a flying ball but Guilherme was okay with it. Late into the half Alania were awarded two consecutive direct free kicks but Khozin spoiled both of them.

In half-time, the experienced Valery Gazzaev managed to get his guys all worked up, and Alania returned to the pitch over-motivated and willing to score. But this sublimated into nothing more than a hard play and fouls. Semberas must have been sent off, with two bad tackles to his name, but the ref booked him just once.

Alania's only real opportunity to score came in the 65th minute when they were granted another free kick. Khozin's tremendously powerful shot rounded the wall and seemed to be going in, but just shook the woodwork.

The last minutes became a stress test for both sides. The referee even had to send off Valery Gazzaev who disagreed with the yellow card to Priskin shown seconds before. He could well send off Bairyev who slide tackled Obinna quite awkwardly but only got a yellow,

At the end of the day, the Railwaymen didn't let Alania close to their goal and secured a third victory in a row.
