Miodrag Bozovic: “Thanks to the players who coped with the pressure and stood their ground!”
Soon after the final whistle sealed Lokomotiv’s victory over Ural, the Railwaymen’s manager Miodrag Bozovic told the press-conference his team are fighters.
- We started well and kept Ural defence under pressure, - said Miodrag. – Alas, we failed to create chances. I am sure Corluka was onside when he was scoring the cancelled goal. When you play against such closed teams as Ural it’s always very important to be the first to score. The visitors had two opportunities early in the game and then could have scored a late goal. But Lokomotiv players stood their ground, well done.
I never comment on referees, but I cannot but complain about them today. The referees were the worst men on the pitch today. They allowed rough play, they were unconfident, but always smiled.
When the fans saw Lokomotiv needed their support they started to cheer them on. I really appreciate it!
