Lokomotiv Have Thrashed Real Linense
Lokomotiv have played their second friendly in Spain against the local Real Balompèdica Linense from the third Spanish league.
The difference between the teams' levels became clear with the starting whistle. In the 9th minute the Railwaymen scored a starter. The keeper parried Maxim Grigoriev's header but Vitaly Lystsov got to the ball first and sent it home. That's the first goal to Vitaly's name in the main team.
Lokomotiv dominated every inch but couldn't double the lead, largely due to the Spanish keeper Pagola who kept dismantling one attack after another. And when in the end of the half Pavlyuchenko managed a perfect chip shot that left Pagola gazing the ball rolling towards the goal, defender Guerra cleared it right from the line.
In the half-time Slaven Bilic made eight substitutions, leaving in only Dario Kresic, Dmitry Tarasov and Roman Shishkin.
In the 50th minute Real scored an equalizer: the Spaniards played a set piece and Hernandez was sharp.
It took the Red-Greens only a couple of minutes to get into the driving seat again. Dmitry Torbinsky passed to Denis Glushakov who knocked on to Dame N'Doye. The Senegalese covered the ball well, broke one-on-one with the keeper and had no problems with that.
Thirteen minutes later Dame scored his second goal. The attack started on the right wing where Alexander Samedov found the ball and passed to Denis Glushakov. The ex-cap carried the ball to the very goal-line and crossed to Dmitry Torbinsky in the box. Torbinsky rolled on to N'Doye who finalized the attack with a perfect shot.
And despite the referee didn't punish Real with a penalty for a tough play in the box, Lokomotiv increased their lead even more. Samedov set up for N'Doye who broke one-on-one with the keeper. The forward kept the ball, made the keeper approach him and heeled back to Maicon who netted the fourth goal. 4:1 as the final score with Loko's total domination on the pitch.
Lokomotiv will play their next friendly against FC Strømgodset from Norway on February 23.
