Lokomotiv Lost To Dynamo

Lokomotiv could have scored in the fourth minute. Dmitry Torbinsky centered finding Maicon. The Brazilian nodded towards the goal but Fernandes managed a last minute save clearing the ball from the line. Denis Glushakov picked it up and shot but just over the crossbar.

In the first half, Lokomotiv were better in possession. In the 18th minute the Red-Greens earned a dangerous free kick, and Dame N'Doye shot but just off the post.

Two minutes later Dynamo managed their first dangerous attack in the game. Dzudzak carried the ball all down the flank and passed to Kokorin in the box. Guilherme parried the forward's shot but Solovyov got to the ball first and rolled it into the back of the net.

The Railwaymen's response was quick but ineffective. Lokomotiv played a corner, N'Doye headed it goalwards but only found a post. The ball bounced to Maicon who passed to Caicedo. The Ecuadorian didn't waste a second and shot but Fernandes saved his team again clearig te ball that was going straight into an empty corner.

In the 33rd minute Caicedo and N'Doye created another opportunity. The Ecuadorian rammed through the centre and passed to the Senegalese who lost his marker and shot but just wide.

And even despite minutes before the break Kokorin managed a dangerous shot that shook the post, the Railwaymen deserved a level score.

With the whistle that started the second half, Lokomotiv continued pressing Dynamo. In the 54th minute Glushakov managed a classy shot at the goal, right at the corner, but Shunin managed to tip it away.

Sixty minutes into the game, Slaven Bilic made the first substitution. With Alexander Samedov now in the game, Loko's attacks became even more dangerous.

The 68th minute brought a pleasant surprise for Lokomotiv - Artur Yusupov saw his second yellow card, and was sent off. The Railwaymen were in a powerplay.

Lokomotiv used this to lock Dynamo on their half of the pitch. The Red-Greens kept going for glory and played many corner kicks, with Dynamo defending desperately.

In the 74th minute Samedov managed a great mid-range shot which turned a bit inaccurate.

To increase pressure at Shunin's goal Slaven Bilic made two more substitutions, adding Victor Obinna and Roman Pavlyuchenko to Loko's attacking potential.

Minutes to the final whistle, Lokomotiv had two dead chances to score. In the 88th minute the Railwaymen played another corner, the ball came straight to Jan Durica who headed at the goal but the ball found a defender on its way. Just a minute later Denis Glushakov crossed to Dame N'Doye who hammered at the goal but Shunin picked a right position and saved his team again.

Roman Pavlyuchenko had a last chance to score. The forward managed a great shot but Noboa cleared from the very line.
