Bozovic: ‘Today we fought till the end’

Lokomotiv manager Miodrag Bozovic told the post-match press conference he was happy how his team fought against Dynamo (2:2).

- The game was fruitful. The first half was equal, both teams created many chances. Dynamo scored first but we managed to level before the break. It’s very important psychologically, but the second half began with a red card and a penalty. We didn’t give up and fought till the end, and equalized. I’m happy how the players fought for each other, for Lokomotiv.

- Who decided Fernandes would take the second spot kick?

- It was his decision. He was sure of his form. He’s a very skillful player so I wasn’t worried about the outcome.

- It looked like Guilherme was uptight in some episodes...

- I think Guilherme is the best goalkeeper in Russia now.

- Why did you decide to install Sheshukov rather than Belyaev in the centre of defence?

- Belyaev missed a lot, that’s why I preferred Sheshukov. Playing time is important, not just practices. That’s why Max remained seated today.
