A Moroccan international Mbark Boussoufa has joined Lokomotiv. The 29-year old midfielder has signed a 3-year contract with the club. His lucky number will be 11.

Player's BioMbark Boussoufa was born on August 15, 1984 to a Moroccan family in Amsterdam. At the age of 12 he joined the world-famous Ajax Football Academy. In 2001 he was recruited by the Chelsea scouts.
Mbark played for the Blues until he turned 20. Then he moved to Belgium to play for FC Gent. Two years was enough to win all individual prizes that exist in the Belgian football. In 2006 Boussoufa was named the Player of the Year and earned a level-up, striking a deal with FC Anderlecht.
During his five years in the team Mbark played in more than 200 games, scored 58 goals and assisted 87 times. Twice he won the Belgian championship and once - the Cup. All in all, during the 7 years in Belgium, he was named the Player of the Year three times. In 2010 he also became the Best Assistant of the championship.
In 2011 Mbark Boussoufa joined Anji. He quickly became a key figure for the club's attack and was one of those who directed Anji's successful performance in Season 2012/13.
