Yuriy Syomin: The draw was fair

Lokomotiv head coach Yuriy Syomin shared his view on the 0:0 draw with Amkar in the Premier League Gameweek 10.

- The outcome is fair. It was a close contest, full of action. Lokomotiv were committed. Mind that the Amkar team can get by on physical attributes alone. Up to the penalty area, our side looked good while in possession, and the lads did well on the ball. Once inside, we missed something. So it finished nil-nil.

Of course, Barinov’s injury complicated the matter for us. As for Ignatiev and Fernandes, whom we brought on as substitutes, I'm not quite pleased. Manuel clicked into gear for the last 20 minutes, but in the beginning he was below par. The same is true about Ignatiev.
