Vitaliy Denisov To Take Part In Asian Cup

Lokomotiv defender Vitaliy Denisov had been shortlisted for the Uzbekistan national team of 23 players who will represent their country at the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

The tournament will be held in Australia from 9 to 31 January. At the group stage, the Uzbeks will face North Korea (January 10, Sydney), China (January 14, Brisbane), and Saudi Arabia (January 18, Melbourne).

Two best teams from each group then go to the knockout stage. In the quarterfinals, the top two teams from Group B will see eye to eye with their Group A counterparts. Group A lists Australia, South Korea, Oman and Kuwait.
