Rifat Zhemaletdinov and the Lokomotiv football club ended a cooperation due to the expiration of the contract.
Zhemaletdinov was with Lokomotiv from the age of five — he went through the club’s Academy from recruitment to graduation. The footballer joined the youth team in 2013 and became one of its leaders. His debut in the main team took place on February 25, 2016 in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League UEFA match versus Fenerbahce.

As a part of the main team of Lokomotiv, Rifat won three trophies, becoming a two-time winner of the Russian Cup and once the national Super Cup.
The midfielder played 155 matches for Loko, scored 23 goals and made 25 assists.
