Club management met with employees
Today at the RZD Arena Aleksander Plutnik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FC Lokomotiv, and Vladimir Leonchenko, CEO, met with the club's employees.
- Together with Vasily Kiknadze and Vladimir Leonchenko, we met with the club's management and discussed the current situation. On behalf of the Russian Railways company, we thanked Vasily for the work he did: the club is in good condition, - said Aleksander Plutnik. - We have already talked with Marko Nikolic, he has our support, and he will work with the team in the future in order to complete the assigned tasks. This is a fight for the highest places in the championship, a fight for the Russian Cup. We have a lot of joint work ahead of us. We count on his professional qualities, which will allow us to move forward together with the team.
Vladimir Leonchenko will now start to deal with current issues. Russian Railways will continue to support Lokomotiv and help the club, coaches and players in everything.
FC Lokomotiv CEO Vladimir Leonchenko addressed the fans:
- It is a great honor for me to be the head of such a famous club. At Lokomotiv, I once took my first steps in professional football - in 1994, when Lokomotiv won the first medals in Russian history. I perfectly understand and appreciate the traditions of the club, I have great respect for the fans. The club always had the task to achieve the best possible results.
Now all teams have a vacation - the players must gain energy and calmly prepare for the resumption of the season. The situation in the club is stable, all the components of the team's life are functioning normally. Everything is discussed on regular basis, football life continues. Best wishes to Lokomotiv fans.
