Win in Makhachkala!

Our team had started match against Anzhi on a merry note. On 5th minute railwaymen scored a goal. Ignatiev lobbed the ball in the penalty area where Caicedo was the first on the ball. Ecuadorian forward made a head strike and made four defenders of Anzhi and goalkeeper Revishvili look in perplexity on each other. For Caicedo, by the way, it`s already the fourth goal in Russian championship. 

Players had celebrated the goal by Bebeto gesture – imaginary baby rocking. We would remind you that few days ago midfielder of our team Denis Glushakov had become a father – daughter was born, and parents named her Valeriya. It is quite logical, that this goal Caicedo and his team-mates had devoted to young father. By the way, this attack was launched by Glushakov, who played with captain`s band.

In the starting part of the game Lokomotiv looked more solid and confident than Anzhi. But in the middle of the first half home team had intercepted the initiative. Zhirkov twice dangerously passed the ball to Lokomotiv penalty area. In the first case episode finished by a number of cuts and final ricochet from Bussufa leg to the framework. In the second case Glushakov rescued Lokomotiv when he had kicked out the ball from the goal line after Gadzhiev kick.

After these episodes Lokomotiv had calmed the game. In the end of the first half Yanbaev lobbed the ball to Ibricic, but Bosnian midfielder didn`t  make use of the moment.

In the half time Jose Couceiro didn`t make changes in the squad. Second half started by Anzhi attacks. In one episode Guilherme was nearly injured by Eto`O, and Cameroonian forward got a yellow card.

Then Anzhi nearly scored the goal. But goal post rescued the Lokomotiv after head strike from Angbva. Our team had answered by Maicon kick, but the ball passed near the goalpost.

In the middle of the second half Jose Couceiro made a double substitution – the hook, which he frequently uses in the second half. Ignatiev and Ibricic were changed by Dmitriy Sychev and Stanislav Ivanov. It was obvious that Lokomotiv head coach wasn`t happy by the fact that Anzhi had an advantage in the second half.

On 72nd minute referee could show the second yellow card to Eto`O, who kicked the ball after the whistle, but Michail Vilkov didn`t take upon himself this responsibility. 

In the final part of the game Anzhi had a lot of corners and Lokomotiv defenders worked by the sweat of their brow. Vilkov added five minutes, but Lokomotiv had kept the advantage and achieved very important win in Makhachkala. Congratulations to our players!
