Nikolic: We are happy to play football again

Lokomotiv players arrived in Spain and started their training camp, which will last until February 15. Lokomotiv head coach Marko Nikolic spoke about his plans for the next month.

- We rested well and are happy to play football again. I have been to Marbella many times before with other teams. I think this is the best place for training camp in Europe. Everything is great here: the pitch, the gym, the recovery, the weather, everything is very convenient. But this doesn't matter - we are unhappy with our position in the Russian championship. And this is the first time we can work and develop a game model.

In the first 14 days, we will have two friendly games. The first is on January 23rd with Lincoln from Gibraltar, the second on the 27th with the Östersunds from Sweden. Then there will be five days of vacation. In the second part of the training camp there will be six matches. We have time to prepare physically and, most importantly, to prepare the game model in order to perform better in the second part of the season than we did in the first.
