Draw Against Terek
Both teams managed a quick goal. In the 4th minute Alexander Samedov crossed from a free kick, Denis Glushakov passed to the far post where Jan Durica hammered it right under the crossbar.
Terek got back in the game in just three minutes: Mauricio carried the ball to the box and picked his spot in the corner, making the score level again.
In the 9th minute Lokomotiv could have taken the lead. Dame N'Doye dummied Ferreira in midfield and was breaking one-on-one with the keeper but Jiranek managed a last-minute tackle thus saving his team.
Several minutes later Stanislav Cherchesov was forced to make a first substitution, bringing in Komorowski instead of the injured Ferreira.
Lokomotiv were a preferred side to score and Dame N'Doye could have scored again in the 25th minute but Hodzyur stopped the ball.
By the end of the half the Railwaymen managed to create some more opportunities at Terek's goal. In the 41st minute Renat Yanbaev steamed all up his flank, rounded a defender and centered to Glushakov who shot over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Samedov tried his luck but just a whisker off the goal.
As the second half took off, Loko continued pressing their opponent. In the 50th minute Victor Obinna lost his marker and headed but over the crossbar. Seven minutes later Glushakov spotted Hodzyur had lost his spot at the goal and tried a chip shot but was inaccurate.
An hour into the game Slaven Bilic made a first change in his squad, sending Roman Pavlyuchenko play instead of Dmitry Torbinsky.
In the 64th minute Terek managed a rare raid to Guilherme's goal. Adilson rammed into the box and shot but the ball flew off the post.
In the 72nd minute N'Doye missed another fat chance to score. The Senegalese forward shot from a 25-metre distance but only shook the post.
To keep the pressure high Slaven Bilic boosted attack even more with Felipe Caicedo who substituted Yan Tigorev.
In the end of the game Roman Pavlyuchenko earned a free kick 25 metres off the goal. Caicedo blasted but the ball met Obinna on its way.
