Miroslav Lobantsev: 'Attention from the national team staff motivates me'

Lokomotiv goalkeeper Miroslav Lobantsev was called up to the national team for a friendly against Kazakhstan. The young talent shared his comments on this great event.

- It's not my first call to the 'big' national team, - remembers Miroslav. - Last time I simply didn't believe it was serious, but this time it's different: Capello and his staff are watching the young players, and they know such calls motivate us. I learned the news right during the practice.

- What did you remember most of the stay at the first national team?

- The work with Sergey Ryzhikov. He was my partner at the practices. Mini-games were also great. I have new impressions and new experience ahead. It's good that other young guys were called up, too, as well as my teammate Alexey Miranchuk. We will go to the first team right from the youth team base.
