Lokomotiv: Bronze Medals And Q&A Session With Fans

On Thursday Lokomotiv Stadium turned into a big event hall: fans came to see their favourites at Cherkizovo.

By 6 p.m. the guests started gathering on the West Stand, about 2000 people came to meet the team who were just back from the training camp.

At 6 p.m. Lokomotiv players appeared on the pitch to hold an open training session which both fans and the press could watch. When the session was over the team headed to the dressing room to put on the outfit specially designed for the bronze winners.

Administrators, massagers, coaches and players were awarded by Lokomotiv President's Assistant, the legendary team administrator Vladimir P. Korotkov, and the Russian Football Premier-League President Sergey Pryadkin.

"Lokomotiv won bronze - I think they must remind you of gold. We have been waiting for this victory for a long-long  time," - he said.

RFPL President Sergey Pryadkin also addressed the public. "My friends, I think the most faithful supporters have gathered here today. Let the beginning of this season be marked with these bronze medals. I liked the previous one, and I liked your team."

After that Lokomotiv awarded their fans who attended the team's all 30 games last season. These 13 people received unique merchandise like plaques and golden badges.

Then Dmitriy Tarasov, Aleksandr Samedov and Vedran Corluka presented the new outfit by adidas that the team will wear in Season 2014/15, and after that the club's Sporting Director Kirill Kotov introduced the newbies: Alan Kasayev, Nemanja Pejcinovic, Manuel Fernandes and Arseniy Logashov.

As the official part ended, it was time for some Q&As that were followed by an autograph session.
