
Lokomotiv reached an agreement with Markus Gisdol
In the near future, a well-known German specialist will take the position of head coach.
Markus Gisdol was born on August 17, 1969 in Geislingen an der Steige. As a player, he played for a number of German clubs. At the age of 25, he finished his playing career, becoming a coach. At the beginning of his coaching career, Markus Gisdol was able to demonstrate the further development of young teams (e.g. VfB Stuttgart U17, 1899 Hoffenheim II). Gisdol worked as the head coach of the main team of Hoffenheim and assistant coach of Schalke 04. From 2016 to 2018, Markus Gisdol headed Hamburg, and from 2018 to 2021 – Cologne.
