Kochenkov: The astroturf was a problem
Lokomotiv goalkeeper Anton Kochenkov has given his evaluation of the team’s performance in the game against Mordovia (1:0) of Gameweek 1.
‘It’s good that we started with a win. The astroturf was a problem. From my experience at Mordovia, I know what advantage it gives to the team from Saransk.
It was hard but we didn’t expect the game to be a walk in the woods. It is always important to win the first games. We have three points, and that’s what matters. Other teams will surely have hard times here.’
