Guilherme: Ari supported me after the goal
Lokomotiv goalkeeper Marinato Guilherme told what helped the Railwaymen secure a win against CSKA in a Moscow derby.
- No one expected us to beat CSKA. The Armymen always make use of the advantage of the home arena. But we had a masterplan and stuck to it well. We did everything as Palych (Yuriy Syomin's nickname) asked.
- What did he say?
- Said we had to be defence-minded, play tight and use counter attacks. And we succeeded.
- Did you keep in mind the defeat in the last season?
- Of course. It's always annoying to lose in such a manner. So this time we did everything to win.
- After scoring a goal Ari ran the field to you to say words of support.
- It was nice. We have a real team. The goal they scored is my fault. Keepers just cannot afford to make such mistakes but they do happen sometimes. In the dressing-room the guys supported me, that goal did not discourage the team. In the second half we remained concentrated and secured a victory. The team are awesome!
