Denisov: We couldn’t get started in the first half

Lokomotiv defender Vitaliy Denisov has joined #OurCherkizovoLIVE to comment on the game against Krylya Sovetov.

- After the return from Portugal we just couldn’t get started in the first half. Something was wrong with finishing. In half-time the coach made some corrections and we rolled. Krylya tried to capitalize on the counters, crossing to Kornilenko. We were ready for it. Samara are a good team that play and let play. I want to wish them good luck.

- Did you follow you opponents’ results?

- We have to think about our own play and not to follow the results of the other games. In the last game against Rubin we failed in many episodes, but sooner or later a defeat had to happen. It’s just important to draw the right conclusion.

- Now you’re hitting the road to Armavir. Are there enough emotions for a Cup game?

- We shouldn’t prioritize. We have good roster, and there’re guys who have little playing time. Probably we’ll use rotation.
