Cherevchenko: Rubin deserved the win

Lokomotiv head coach Igor Cherevchenko has summarized the game against Rubin (1:3) of Gameweek 8 of the Russian Championship.

- Rubin deserved it. We lost the first 25 minutes and this influenced the final result.

- What happened during Logashov’s substitution in the second half?

- The assistant referee mixed up the order of the substitutions. There was no argument, I simply explained to him exactly what we wanted.

- Did you expect Rubin to play that well? It was probably their best game of the season so far.

- They had a new coach, and that gave them motivation. Everybody wanted to show their best in that situation. There was no way back for them.
