Ari Goes Camping
The Brazilian striker has extended his loan spell at Lokomotiv for the entire season.
Fans' favourite striker Ari has decided to stay at Lokomotiv and signed a year-long loan agreement. Today Lokomotiv president Ilya Gerkus and the Brazilian have sealed the move. On Monday Ari will join his teammates at the training camp in Austria.
- Ari reinforced our attacking potencial last season, there's no doubt about that, - says Ilya Gerkus. - We are glad to continue with this cooperation. It was important Ari didn't show a sign of uncertainty and stated his desire to play at Lokomotiv. We're counting on his boldness and striking abilities he demonstrated last season.
- I made this decision even before the last season ended, - says Ari. - I told the management I wanted to remain at Lokomotiv. We have a very interesting season ahead, and I'm looking forward to this first game against Spartak. The fans accepted me very well, my daughter is a Moscovite, so I feel very comfortable here.
