Alan Kasaev has been named the best player for July

Alan Kasaev has been named the best player for July according to the fans’ poll on our official website and in our VKontakte community.

Kasaev needed two ballots to prove his leadership. In the first poll, Kasaev and Corluka came shoulder to shoulder 1470 to 1469 votes respectively. In the second ballot the difference was more significant 1196 to 951, or 55,8% to 44,2% in favour of Kasaev.

It is necessary to note that in July Kasaev scored on of the most spectacular goals of the season so far. Against Anji, Maicon’s backheeled the ball to Aslan who curved it beautifully into the back corner of the goal. Also, Kasaev started six games including the friendlies. 

Petar Skuletic came third with 885 votes to his name. Vitaliy Denisov hauled 652 votes, midfielder Alexander Kolomeytsev came fifth with 167 votes.

The total turnout in the two ballots was 6,798 people.
