Kochenkov: It was a difficult away game
Lokomotiv goalkeeper Anton Kochenkov got a clean sheet against Akhmat (0:0) in the Gameweek 16 of the Russian Premier League.
- Lokomotiv arrived in Moscow on Thursday evening and on Saturday there was already a game against Akhmat. How did you prepare?
- I didn't play in the last match, so I had a normal weekly cycle, only with a flight. Since we flew from Madrid the day after the match, we decided to fly to Grozny on the day of the game.
- You came on with the captain's armband. What does this mean to you?
- Additional responsibility. Before the game, Marko asked if I was ready to be the captain.
- How would you rate the game against Akhmat?
- Difficult away game. It seemed to me that the refereeing was ambiguous and added difficulties. But it could have been worse - they could have given a penalty against us or sent someone off.
- After the match, the fan chanted your name.
- I heard and noted. It was very nice.
