Nikolic: Today I am pleased with Lokomotiv's performance
Lokomotiv’s head coach Marko Nikolic reflects on the game against Zenit (0:0) in Gameweek 6 of the Russian Premier League.
- I would like to congratulate the team with a good result and, above all, on a good performance. We played tactically well, with discipline and desire. I liked it. It is a pity that we failed to win, but we were close to winning the game. In the first half we scored a goal, had three or four good chances. At the same time, Zenit did not make a single shot on target. My players did well.
We only got one point, but we will continue our work. Many young players were on the pitch today and the atmosphere at the stadium was good. If we have the same desire, the same discipline in every match, we will not have any problems. We will move forward as a team.
