Last Game At The Camp

Lokomotiv conceded to CSKA from Sofia in the last friendly at the training camp in Estepona.

The team played their last game of the camp on Ayala Polo Club pitch which is about seven metres wider than those of "Marbella Football Center". A bigger pitch means more work.

Lokomotiv President Ilya Gerkus, Selection and Analytics Department Director Viktor Panchenko, and the new Sports Director Erik Stoffelshaus came to see the game. FC Rubin are holding their training camp nearby, and some of their players came to support the Red-Greens. Taras Burlak, Georgiy Makhatadze, and Rifat Zhemaletdinov greeted their former teammates.
The first half was pretty chaotic, with CSKA looking better. Guilherme saved two long-range shots and managed to stop Yordanov's aerial attempt. On their side, Lokomotiv failed to create chances in the final third.

But right after the restart Lokomotiv scored twice. The first goal was cancelled, though, as the referee saw Ignatyev offside. A couple of minutes later Ndinga sent the ball home capitalizing on the goalkeeper's mistake.

CSKA equalized in the next attack when Pedro finished off a cross. He could have doubled the lead but missed the target from ten metres. Anyway, the Armymen scored that final goal in the end when Atanasov chipped Kochenkov.
