Player Of The Month: Vedran Corluka
The voting to determine the best player in December has ended.
According to the poll in the club’s VKontakte official community, Vedran Corluka has been named the MVP for December. Vedran confirmed his highest level in the games against Terek and Ural. Most of the attacks broke against the Croatian wall. Corluka was useful at the other half of the pitch and even scored a goal that was unfairly cancelled.
Vedran enjoyed 41,1% of the total ballot (2,799 votes). The Croatian is the first-ever Lokomotiv player who has won the nomination three times.
Last-month MVP Alan Kasaev came second this time with 32,6% (2,220 votes). Goalkeeper Ilya Abaev is ranked third with 999 votes, or 14,7%.
