Syomin: Lokomotiv were better defensively

Lokomotiv manager Yuriy Syomin has talked to a press-conference after the Cup game against Tosno (1:0).

- Our game was no big difference from the rest of the quarterfinals. It was a good and hard match. We were better defensively and denied the opponents almost any chance though failed to create much ourselves. But the victory is what's important. As for Tosno, I have no doubts the team will get promoted to the Premier League and be a hard nut for the top flight teams. It's a quality team with good roster.

- What's your take on Ari's debut?

- Ari should have scored. He's a great master with a good finishing skill but he was unlucky this time.

- Has Mykhalyk picked up an injury?

- He stopped a powerful blast. I think he's going to be okay. The doctors will do their job well.
