Reinforcement To The Coaching Staff

Yuriy Baturenko has joined the Lokomotiv coaching staff.

This week has seen the return of the former Lokomotiv player and coach Yuriy Baturenko.

We wish him successful work at the team.

OUR NOTE

Yuriy Mikhaylovich Baturenko

Born on December 29, 1964 in Dushanbe, Mr Baturenko played as a defender. His first pro team was the local Pakhtakor but the most part of his career passed in FC Pamir where he made more than 200 appearances.
In 1992 Yuriy Baturenko signed with Lokomotiv and won bronze and silver medals of the Russian national championship. He also played internationally for the Tajikistan national team.
After hanging up his boots Baturenko became a coach at the Lokomotiv youth team and then at Lokomotiv-2. His last employer was Anji Makhachkala.
