Pavlyuchenko: ‘We needed only victory’

In an exclusive interview with the Lokomotiv’s Press Service striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has shared his impressions of the game against Rubin (3:0).

‘This victory is very important to us and to our fans. We understood we needed only victory today, we played in front of our supporters. We have to bring them back to the stands. Thanks to those who were here tonight.

We really lacked positive emotions after the recent defeats, but we were able to get pumped up and do everything to win. But the Cup Final is the most important game now, of course. We’re looking forward to it.

I feel alright, and healthy. I don’t often make it to the main squad, today I had a chance and used it, I wanted to show what I can do. I am glad that I scored and helped the team to haul points. Congratulations on the victory everyone!’
