Lokomotiv penned new contracts with Rakov, Shchetinin and Nikishin

FC Lokomotiv has extended contracts with three of the club's trainees: midfielder Mikhail Shchetinin and forwards Vadim Rakov and Kirill Nikishin. New agreements with Shchetinin and Nikishin will be valid until the end of the 2025/26 season, with Rakov — until 2026/27.

Mikhail Shchetinin was born in 2005. He was the captain of the youth national team of Russia of his age. Last season, the midfielder made his debut for the first team and eventually played 5 matches for the Loko main team.

18-year-old Vadim Rakov also made his first team debut in the 2022/23 season. In total, the attacker entered the field 14 times and became the author of one assist.

Kirill Nikishin, who mainly played for the youth squad last season and became the top scorer there, twice played in the main Loko squad in the National Cup.

Also this summer, all these players have gone through a full-fledged training camp with the main team of the club in Bakovka.
