Miranchuk: Failed to secure the score

Lokomotiv midfielder Aleksey Miranchuk speaks about the Premier League’s Gameweek 14 match against Orenburg (1:1).

- Tonight we played in heavy weather conditions. Orenburg are excellent in defence so we were lucky to score against them already in the first half. We wanted to win, but failed to secure the score. It’s annoying to draw a match like this.

- Could you say the outcome was good enough?

- No. At the current stage each win is precious. It’s too bad we couldn't win. On the other side, we did get a point.

- You played in the right midfield slot – how was it?

- Nothing unusual. It’s an attacking position, although I had to help the defence as well. Surely, certain interactions were new to me, but I had no problems with it.
