Magkeev: We have the strongest group with top clubs

Lokomotiv midfielder Stanislav Magkeev shared his emotions about the Champions League draw.

- What can you say - we have the strongest group with top clubs in the form of Bayern Munich, Atletico and very interesting Salzburg. I think everyone knows the first two teams - they are well known, they always win and play great football. Bayern are the Champions League winners, and Atletico, as past games have shown, are an extremely inconvenient opponent for us.

I remember that I made my debut in the Champions League in Madrid - we did our best to prevent them from shooting, but still conceded two goals. So we know very well how to play with them, and hopefully this can be our advantage. As for Salzburg, I can say that this is a very interesting team, an interesting project. They try to play high, play offensive. We will fight in every game, this is Champions League and there are no weak opponents here. We want to perform with dignity, please our fans and will do everything in our power to qualify from the group!
