Lokomotiv Lost To Molde

The game against Molde took place the next day after the derby against CSKA, but out of Loko's starting 11 ten names were new. Only Renat Yanbaev kept his place on the list, but moved to the right flank.

The first half brought much struggle but almost no dangers. The Norwegians were first to succeed up front. Late into the first half, they managed several attacks on Dario Kresic's goal but the keeper was okay.

Lokomotiv responded minutes before the half-time. Roman Pavlyuchenko received a pass from Alexander Samedov in a rapid attack and struck twice but Søderberg parried both times. Samedov's cross from a corned found the head of Maxim Grigoriev who also failed to score.

The second half started just like the first one ended. Pavlyuchenko received the ball at the edge of the opponents' box, tuned up and shot with his left foot but just over the bar.

Ten minutes later Lokomotiv conceded a goal. The Red-Greens lost the ball in the centre, Molde regrouped for a quick  counter-attack, Chima receive the ball and outplayed Kresic scoring an opener.

The Railwaymen had a chance to level the score very soon. Pavlyuchenko was in the spotlight again. Roman broke into the box and was about to shoot but got his timing wrong letting a defender clear the danger.

Lokomotiv totally possessed the ball during the last fifteen minutes but Molde's defence played well. Five minutes to the final whistle, Pavlyuchenko managed to set up for Alexey Miranchuk byt the young player was immediately blocked by defenders.

As a result, Loko's experimental squad lost to the Norwegian champion, thus finishing the last mid-season training camp. The Railwaymen are returning to Moscow on February 28.
