Lokomotiv Have Thrashed Krylya Sovetov

Lokomotiv have beaten Krylya Sovetov in Gameweek 18 of the ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Championship.

Lokomotiv's new signings Ari and Solomon Kverkvelia found themselves in the starting 11 for the game against Krylya. And it was the Brazilian who soon created the first chance when he was first on the ball after it bounced off Nadson, but sent it wide.
In the middle of the first half the teams exchanged attacks. Pejcinovic wanted to chip the keeper with a header but Loria cleared off the line; soon after that Miranchuk had a chance very similar to that of Ari's early opportunity. At Krylya, the young Zuev had a chance when he tried to find an opening in the near corner after a counter-attack, and later Gadzhibekov tried to drive it under the crossbar but the attempt went wide.

In the first half, Miranchuk had the most viable opportunity to open the score. The midfielder received the ball at the edge of the penalty area, worked it for his favourite left foot and curved it towards the far corner. Alas, the ball hit the post.
However, quantity had to be converted to quality sooner or later. And it did happen in the 60th minute. Miranchuk saw Ari finding space and passed forward, allowing the Brazilian break one-on-one. He never wastes such chances. Soon after that, Fernandes bent it precisely to the far post where Ari was waiting for the ball - a feather touch was enough to confuse the keeper. 2:0.

Securing the score was easy. Not only did Lokomotiv secure the scoreline, but also netted a spectacular goal through Miranchuk. Alexey received the ball in the centre of the penalty area, worked the volley with one foot and drove it into the far corner first touch with the other.

Lokomotiv restarts the campaign with a victory. Marinato Guilherme has made his 200th appearance at Loko's outfit, and kept his 69th clean sheet! By these components, Marinato is ranking third in the club's history.
