Leonid Kuchuk: “We lacked in freshness”
After the final whistle verified Lokomotiv’s loss to Kuban 1:2, the Railwaymen’s head coach Leonid Kuchuk told the post-match press-conference the Europa League fixture against Apollon had an impact on his team’s form.
- The Europa League game against Apollon had its effect on the players. We finished that match with only nine men in the field, that took a lot of strength, then the flight… Today it was obvious Kuban were fresher while we lacked it. We simply didn’t have enough strength to play first to last minute at a good speed. Plus we were somewhat careless during free kicks, - said Kuchuk.
