Hoewedes: Zenit had no chances

Lokomotiv defender Benedikt Hoewedes shares his opinion of the victory over Zenit (1:0) in Gameweek 11 of the Russian Premier League.

- We have deserved this victory. Zenit had no chances, we have been defending well. If the opposition managed to make only one attempt on the target that means we were good in defense. It is important to understand that we are able to take on strong teams if we play team football.

There is a difficult game against Atletico ahead but we have seen what we are capable of in the fixture against Bayer. Let’s wait till Tuesday. I hope the supporters will be pushing us forward.
