Kasaev: Everyone is delighted, but we need to add quality
Lokomotiv midfielder Alan Kasaev has come to the #OurCherkizovoLIVE studio to share his view of the 1:0 win against CSKA.
- The derby victory is clearly a special and very pleasant one. For a long while we could not secure a win and make the supporters happy. It is good the frustrating run came to a halt today. Our side could have scored more goals, however the most important are these three points. Everyone is delighted.
Our preparation for this game was thorough: we looked at how CSKA defend. They leave spaces we had to explore, but conversion still leaves much to be desired. We create half-chances, and we need to add quality. I’d like to hope that in the next encounter our team will be ready to please the fans again. I just pray we move in the right direction.
