Lokomotiv have extended contract with Galaktionov
The Lokomotiv football club has extended an agreement with the current head coach of the main team Mikhail Galaktionov. The new contract will be valid until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Mikhail Mikhailovich was appointed to his position in November, 2022. Since Galaktionov began working as the head coach of Lokomotiv, no one in the RPL has scored more points than Lokomotiv.
The last spring, under the leadership of Galaktionov, Lokomotiv had a streak of 8 victories. The last season, FC Lokomotiv had only five defeats in the championship — the fewest of all.
In total, Galaktionov managed Lokomotiv in 57 matches, including 29 wins, 14 draws and 14 losses. Goals difference is 119:84.
