Francois Kamano has joined Lokomotiv

Bordeaux forward Francois Kamano has signed a long-term contract with our club. Kamano will wear the No. 25 shirt.

- I am very pleased with the transfer to Lokomotiv, - said Francois. - This is a new challenge. I want to help the team complete all the tasks that are set for this season. Before moving, I watched several Lokomotiv games, so I know some of the players. In the near future I will get to know everyone better. I want to join the team as soon as possible and play as many matches as possible, show bright football and help Lokomotiv.

Kamano was born in the capital of Guinea, Conakry, and began his career at a local club called the Satellite. In 2014, Francois moved to Bastia. During his time there he played 50 matches and scored eight goals. In the summer of 2016, Kamano moved to Bordeaux. In the first season, he scored six goals and made four assists. In total, the forward has 30 goals and 14 assists in 139 matches for Bordeaux.

In 2013, at the age of 17, Kamano made his debut for the Guinean national team against Mali in the qualifying round of the African Cup of Nations.
