Fernandes: I had to go for the second goal

Lokomotiv midfielder Manuel Fernandes appeared on #OurCherkizovoLIVE to say a few words about the 1:1 draw with Ural in the Premier League Gameweek 15.

- We put in a worthy performance with many chances but faulty conversion. As the time was running to an end, we had to push forward in search of the second goal. That was a master strike by Ural player. When the rivalling side set up a last-gasp effort from some 30 meters’ range, there is nothing you can do any more. But we have to toe the line and improve our finishing.

- How would you assess your personal form?

- I am in trim, helping the team. But what really matters is whether we take three points or not. Yes, the team play better now than three months ago, but we have to win games and move up the League table until we find ourselves where Lokomotiv deserve to be.
