Bozovic: 'We have to admit, Gazovik were good'

Lokomotiv head coach Miodrag Bozovic has summarized the Cup semifinal against Gazovik his team won in a penalty shootout 4:3.

- We were better in the first half. The team controlled the game and created two very good opportunities. Gazovik did not have a single chance. But in the second half the opponents scored a goal, and could have scored more while we were pulling ourselves together. Nevertheless, Lokomotiv equalized and should have won the game in full time but were failing to make a killer pass.

We have to admit, Gazovik were good, they made us work hard. I want to thank the opponents for their determination, thank their coach for the great team, and thank the supporters for the wonderful atmosphere.

- Who would you point out at Lokomotiv?

- I never point out individual players. There was one team at the pitch, and they looked good. As for Gazovik, they have many footballers who used to play in the Premier League, they are a tough team.

- Why did Boussoufa miss the game?

- He has the adductor muscle injury. Many of our players are injured - Durica, Corluka, Sheshukov. But I don't want to complain. Lokomotiv remains itself even despite the losses.

- How did you like Logashov in the centre of defence?

- He has already played in that position, and he looked solid. Logashov had some troubles playing against Gazovik, he hasn't been a central defender for some time, but he did okay.

- How did you find the referees' work?

- It was okay. I will have more comments when I watch the replay.
