Bozovic: ‘It was a real cup game!’

The Lokomotiv head coach told the post-match press-conference he appreciated his team’s character.

– I’m extremely happy. It was a real cup game. We had three very good opportunities but we failed to convert them into goals.
We were unlucky to have several players injured before the game. Boussoufa felt sick, Denisov had caught a flu during the training camp, while Kasaev made a bad landing at the yesterday’s practice.

As for the injuries we had during the game, Abaev hurt the gastrocnemius, and Logashov had his face smashed.
Skuletic had to struggle today but I’m happy with him. He has adapted well but there have been too few wing crosses today, and they didn’t reach him.
