Lost In Grozniy
Lokomotiv youth team have lost against Terek on Gameweek 19 of the Russian championship.
Lokomotiv youth team restarted their campaign in Grozniy against the local side Terek. In the winter break our team accepted many newcomers from the Academy. Three of them - Lapshov, Tugarev, and Sharov - appeared in the starting IX.
Lokomotiv didn't wait for too long and immediately ran forward. In the 11th minute Galadzhan thought he opened the score but the referee had flagged him off side. In the next attack Terek was saved by a goalpost. The Railwaymen kept trying to break the scoreline throughout the first half but unsuccessfully.
In halftime Terek made several substitutions that had an immediate effect. The hosts started playing more actively in the first half, and Adamov scored in the very first attack when he broke one-on-one with the keeper. Lokomotiv still had chances to get back into the game and even take the lead but were unlucky. Makhatadze sent the ball into the post, Chikanchi propelled it goalwards with a mighty kick but the keeper saved. Terek won 1:0.
