RZD Arena is a unique stadium in terms of its design and construction. The roof of the arena rest on the shrouds, stretched over four bridge pylon made of concrete. Due to this type of construction it seems that there are four letters L along the edges of the stadium. This technology is usually used in the railroads construction.
In 2000, the foundation of the stadium was laid. And in 2002, it was already opened in commemoration of the Railroad Worker's Day.
