Locomotive from Tbilisi turned out to be stronger on the day
On the last day of the training camp, Lokomotiv has planned two friendly matches. In the first game, our team was opposed by the Georgian team-mates, who not so long ago knocked out Dynamo Moscow from the Europa League.
The teams started the game slowly and until the 14th minute they practically did not approach each other's goal, preferring to control the ball in their own half of the field. But the first moment in the match almost ended in a goal. Kakhabrishvili closed the cross at the far post and would have opened the score if it had not been for Silyanov, who knocked the ball off the line.
In the middle of the half, the teams exchanged moments. Berkovskiy intercepted the ball on the line of the penalty area, moved further and was supposed to roll the ball into the empty net for Eder, but Ilya was not able to make an accurate pass. The Georgians responded with a counterattack - Kochenkov had to make a save after Kirkitadze’s shot.
The team from Tbilisi scored in the 33rd minute. Omar Imran got the ball near the penalty area and unexpectedly shot - the ball went perfectly in the top far corner. Shortly afterwards the Georgians could have increased the score. After a series of deflections, the ball fell on the foot of the Locomotive forward, who struck the ball powerfully straight down the middle - Kochenkov was at the right place at the right time and saved the shot.
The second half began with an own goal - Lystsov accidentally hit the ball into his own goal. And eight minutes later Lokomotive conceded the third. After a pass from the right, Omar Imran put the ball into the top nine from the center of the penalty area.
Despite all the efforts from our team, the ball just didn’t go into the net, and the Georgians took advantage of our defensive mistakes. Kochenkov had to save our team twice - first after Imran’s shot from 11 meters and then after Sikharulidze’s blow from a close range.
It was Sikharulidze who scored the fourth goal in the 79th minute. The forward sent the ball from a close range into the bottom corner. Our team suffered the first defeat at the training camp.
