Mishatkin: We should have scored more in this game
Lokomotiv U19 head coach Maksim Mishatkin reflects on the victory over Ural (4:0) in the Gameweek 2 of the Russian Youth League.
- I would like to congratulate players with a good game. But in this game we should have scored more and played better. The advantage should be turned into goals. It is necessary to use the moments, especially in matches, when there will be few of them. But these games allow you to move forward.
- You had complaints about the performance of the players after the last game. Have they improved today?
- Today we were more dynamic. I am only upset about how we finished our chances. In some situations, we need to act more harmoniously. After the second goal, the team relaxed - this is unacceptable. You need to play until the end.
- Is it unusual to play with empty stands?
- Absolutely. We are always looking forward to fans who delight us with their attention. They need to see that the young players are growing up, who may soon enter the big stadium. Even today we heard the fans outside Sapsan Arena. Thanks to the fans, the players understand that they are being followed.
