Guilherme: Such games keep you fit
After a draw against Sheriff (1:1) in the third leg of the Europa League group stage Lokomotiv goalkeeper Marinato Guilherme tells what he thinks about result and says he had some work to do.
- It's been a while since I had so much work. Sheriff were playing at home in front or the full terraces, with great motivation, so I anticipated a hard game. I think we could have played better. On the other hand it was an away game, and it's always nice to bring home some points.
- Do you feel guilty for the conceded goal?
- I haven't seen the replay yet but I think I could have played better.
- There was an argument late in the game.
- These are emotions. I ran for the ball, the opponent saw I was alone and still jumped for the ball. But it's dangerous play! This happens, it's football.
- Did you shake hands after the game?
- Sure. I was wrong. I repeat, these were emotions.
- The game was very intensive for you.
- On the one hand, it's better when the other side's goalie has more work. On the other, when you're busy it keeps you fit. It's been a while since I last played such a game. A draw is a fair result.
